Tom Savage has been a resident of Melrose since 1979.  He developed an interest in photography over 30 years ago, taking photos in and around the coastal areas of Maine and New Hampshire.  In recent years he has adopted a more serious focus - a passionate interest for capturing unusual visual surroundings in the greater Boston area and beyond.

Tom's subject matter varies, covering landscapes, flora, candid and urban studies, both in color and black and white. He works exclusively in digital media. Tom is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, Northeastern University, and  is a member of the Melrose Arts & Cultural Association (MACA).  He has participated as a displaying artist in the Melrose Arts Festival for the past three years, the 2008 Melrose Art Walk, and his work can be found in private collections throughout the United States.
