Melrose Arts is a non profit organization devoted to promoting fine arts and artists in Melrose Massachusetts. Our activities include the annual Spring Arts Festival at Memorial Hall, and a Fall Art Walk featuring local artists in downtown store window. Art Demontrations occur most months at the Milano Center and feature prominent local and regional professional artists.

The Melrose Arts Festival will be held at Memorial Hall on Friday April 27 to Sunday April 29.   This will be the 7th year for our juried fine arts and fine crafts show with 44 exhibitors. This popular regional exhibition and sale features live music and catered food by Bohemian Coffee House.

Melrose was settled in the 1640's, and remained a rural community for 200 years.  With the arrival of trains in the 1840's it became a desirable suburb of Boston.  The rapid expansion created the Victorian  architecture of much of Melrose, which is prized by its citizens today.
