Pastels and Asian brush painting (Sumi-e) are Pat's chosen media.  She studies at the Museum of Fine Arts and individually with a Boston Artist. Pat feels very fortunate to have attended many workshops with leading artists in her areas of interest.  She was featured along with one of her recent paintings in an article in the Summer 2009 QUARTERLY  JOURNAL OF THE SUMI-E SOCIETY.  Pat has exhibited at the Greater Boston Buddhist Cultural Center, and the Martha's Vineyard All-Island Art Show.  She participated in the "Paint Victorian Melrose" exhibit at the Beebe Estate as well as the first Melrose Window Art Walk.  Pat is a member of the Sumi-e Society of America, Inc. and the Concord Art  Association.
