Dixie Clark is primarily a pleine aire watercolor painter. Although her paintings are mostly Massachusetts seascapes and landscapes, she has also painted in other U. S. locations, Portugal and Italy. She has studied with Betty Lou Schlemm (AWS) of Rockport, Tad Klodnicki and Ture Bengtz (founder of the Duxbury Art Museum). She is a member of the Cape Ann Watercolor Painters and the Reading Art Association. Dixie taught watercolors for several years and regularly exhibits in various North Shore shows. She is actively involved the Beebe Art Gallery and in the Melrose Arts and Cultural Association. Her work is on permanent display at the Greenwood Building in Melrose and hangs in collections in both the U.S. and Europe. Contact Dixie at sdclark1@comcast.net
