All classes 10-11:30 AM, Grades 2-5

7/12 Go Wild!
Create an imaginative 3-D creature using found objects, wire and beads
7/19 Book Making
Learn how to make an artist’s book that includes some of your own hand decorated paper
7/26 Into the Woods
Draw and paint a colorful landscape using a variety of media including watercolor and pastel
8/2 Pop Shop
Design and construct a ladder style hanging mobile in the Pop Art style
8/9 Think Big!
Experiment with form, color and pattern. In this session we’ll make a large scale collage using a still life as the model.
8/16 Family Portrait
Who is in your family and what makes a portrait? Students will make both the portrait and the frame.

How it works;
" Classes are held at the Milano Center, 201 W. Foster St. in Melrose From 10-11:30 AM
" Cost is $14 per each session materials are included
" Families should arrive 10 minutes before class to register Class size is limited to 12
" Classes are recommended for children grades 2-5 Older children are welcome to attend
