MACA (Melrose Arts and Cultural Association) held its annual Spring Arts Festival at Memorial Hall in Melrose on April 3rd through 5th. The Melrose Arts Festival is a juried show and features original art work by painters, printmakers, photographers, and sculptors.  The Arts Festival presents local Melrose artists as well as artists from surrounding areas. 

This year the Arts Festival began with a free Opening Reception Friday evening, which included a fund raising Silent Auction. Very large and enthusiastic attendance on all three days of the Festival made for a very enjoyable community event and many visitors left with original art by the exhibing artists.
